HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR BLOG'S SITEMAP TO GOOGLE WEBMASTER TOOLS

I want to assume that you have read my previous post on How to verify your blog/website in google webmaster tools to make your blog visible in go ogle search, hence, increase your traffic. I also believe you have successfully verified your blog.
If that's correct then you have to proceed immediately to add your blog sitemap to google webmaster tools as it helps to improve your blog's visibility to google search enging and increase your google ranking
The sitemap which we submit to Google Webmaster Tools is an XML sitemap which is used by search engines to find our content easily.
So to add your blog/website sitemap to google follow the easy steps below
*.Go to the Google Webmaster Tools.
*.Click on the blog title which you want to add sitemap.
*.Click on Sitemaps button
*.At the top right corner of the page, press Add/Test sitemap button.
*. A small box will appear
*.Add the below code in the text field.
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500
*.Press “Submit Sitemap” button.
*.After that, Refresh the page.
You are through with submitting your blog sitemap.
NOTE:If you have published more than 500 posts in your blog, then you have to add one more sitemap as the above code only works for 500 posts and below.
So if your blog posts have exceeded 500, Following the same procedure as stated above add this code.
